Know If Your Student Is Pre-Approved For Summer EBT
Your child may already qualify for Ohio Summer EBT benefits. Many school districts are required to submit eligible students for benefits each year.
If any of the following are true for your school aged student on or after July 1, 2025, your student will already receive Summer EBT. You do not need to apply.
- Currently on or were on SNAP
- Currently on or were on Ohio Works First (OWF)
- Currently on or were on Medicaid and your household income would qualify the student for free or reduced-price meals
- Was certified for free or reduced-price meals at school in school year 2025-2026
